Tangerine

from Bored Yesterday by Aaron Trory

lyrics

I remember when I met you
'cause we hung out all night
'til the morning dew
I said if you wanna be with me
meet me by mango tree

we would lie and chill on grass
just looking at all the good times pass
if I stare into your eyes
I would hear the sunset rise

forget every word that is said
I understand love don't pay the rent
I heard what you said
I just don't know what you mean

you're the one that makes me scream
that's why you're my tangerine

If you want to sleep with me
let's take ecstasy in the cemetery
but in spite of all the pills we take
you'll be with me when I wake

forget every word that is said
I understand love don't pay the rent
I heard what you said
I just don't know what you mean

you're the one that makes me scream
that's why you're my tangerine

I know love won't pay the rent
'cause by the end of the night
it seems our love is spent

I heard what you said
I just don't know what you mean

you're the one that makes me scream
that's why you're my tangerine
